Appointment Changes

Appointment changes should be requested as early as possible. Elite Empire Notary LLC will try to accommodate scheduling changes, but availability is not guaranteed.

Cancellations

A cancellation fee may apply, especially for late cancellations, repeated changes, or appointments that reserved travel time or a specific appointment window.

Missed Appointments and No-Shows

Missed appointments and no-shows may be charged. A no-show may include situations where the client is not present, cannot be reached, lacks required identification, does not have required witnesses, or is not prepared to proceed at the scheduled time.

Travel Fees

Travel fees may still apply if the notary has already traveled or arrived, even if the notarization cannot be completed because of cancellation, no-show, missing identification, incomplete documents, missing witnesses, or other issues outside the notary's control.

Refunds

Refunds are not guaranteed once travel, time, or services have been provided. Any refund request will be reviewed based on the timing of the request, work already performed, travel completed, fees paid, and the circumstances of the appointment.

Service Not Completed

If service cannot be completed because legal requirements are not met, the signer is not present, identification is not acceptable, the document is incomplete, required witnesses are missing, or the notary must refuse service, travel fees, waiting time, or other agreed fees may still apply.
